Dragon Shogun Dojo - Central Arkansas (501-574-4859)

Tye Brooks has been teaching martial arts for the past 19 years.  He was the youngest martial arts master of his age.  In most systems, it would take a person more than 20-30 years to master one system.  Due to a family heritage  rite, Tye Brooks learned over 30+ systems by the age of 12.  He had his first set of students at age 14.  At the same time, to prove a point, he joined the United States Tae Kwon Do Federation (in Malvern, Arkansas) and was the fastest to earn past the introductory rank in only 7 days.

Tye Brooks really made a name for himself with martial leaders like late GTF President Park, Jun-tae.  Whenever he came across a leader of a federation, Brooks was blessed by each of them as being the new turn of a generation.  This was an high honor indeed.  His first Kung Fu teacher was no other than his uncle, Oscar Hampton, who died May 3rd, 2011.  Without the knowledge gained by Mr. Hampton, much of the Kung Fu in the Hampton family would have been lost forever.  Brooks would be the first to learn each particular Kung Fu with an actual organized systematic skill made for combat.  True, the Hampton family learned combat skills, however, Oscar Hampton took over 5+ years to decipher skills between different systems.

The Hampton Family Kung Fu has been around since 1895.  It is the oldest system in the United States besides the fighting skills of Native American Tribes.  Tye Brooks now holds the complete family system, Ip Man Wing Chun, and the legacy of over 115 years of legacy born in Arkansas.
